STATEMENT

My professional goal is to make an effective contribution to patient pharmaceutical care delivery. The training to provide quality service in an efficient, professional manner aims to optimize patient pharmaceutical treatment outcome, which is the healthcare providers’ primary focus. With over 10-years exposure to outpatient/community practice, I have gained the experience, the skills and confidence to address the day-to-day challenges that impact the achievement of this goal.

In recognition of the all-important objective of customer, good products/service knowledge is a tool I find useful for the clear identification and assessment of unmet patients’ specific needs. Satisfaction of these needs engenders patient confidence, goodwill and positive therapeutic outcomes.

My desire at all times is to improve on my skilled knowledge, and stay current with developments in patient pharmaceutical care. This I achieve by exploring new opportunities, reading literature reviews, and participation in professional workshops, seminars and certification programs.

Experience in Long-Term care practice is an added asset, and so is the basic management skills I need in the promotion of positive workplace environment needed for teamwork to thrive.

a)PRN DUTIES IN INDEPENDENT RETAIL 2010-Current

Functions:

Prescription processing, including interpretation, evaluation of prescriptions from validity.

Filling and verification of prescriptions for accurate dispensing.

Take telephone prescription orders from licensed practitioners and reducing them to writing.
