Summary:The was based on diseses that are caused by water. The water from different areas has been tested in the labaratares and the reason of the diseses has been find out. Role: My role in this project is to find the micro organisms that are causing diseases. Project 2: PROPANOIC ACID

Summary: This project was based on bioprocess techniqes by using yeast like spirulina biomass and to extract the bio fuel by using all those techinques. Role: My role in this project is to extract the bio fuel by cultivating and extracting the bio fuel Project 3: YEAST MODEL SYSTEM FOR RECOMBINANT PROTEIN EXPRESSION Summary:Recombinant protein expression has revolutionized several areas of science and industry likebiopharmaceuticals, agriculture, cleaning agents etc. There are several choices available today to act as host systems for heterologous protein expression, like bacteria, yeasts, mammalian cell lines, plants etc. Each host system comes with its own merits and demerits. There is noperfect host system suitable for all proteins. In order to produce secretory human proteins, yeast cell factories can be immensely powerful and convenient host systems. Yeast cells offerthe advantages of single-celled host systems like bacteria as well as those of higher eukaryoticsystems like mammalian cell lines. There is enormous biodiversity in yeast species, providing flexibility host system choice, based on the nature of the heterologous protein that is beingmade. For example Ogataeaminuta is emerging as a choice host system for producing glycoproteins. Apart from rapid growth of the cells, which can potentially provide high yields, another point of concern is the volumetric productivity or the space time yield (STY). Quantity of the protein obtained, volume of fermentation and time consumed are taken into consideration by STY. Rationally engineered cells can help us understand the metabolism better and therefore, can provide high recombinant protein productivity. For example, upregulating the Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) provided higher yields in some studies. Role :My role in this project was to know the recombinants of the micro organisms. INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE:

Worked in BIOSERVE, HYDERABAD as a summer internship course during May 2014,where we were told about test which are carried out in genetic laboraties like gmo’s,extraction of gmofood,pcr etc.
