Work with a team to develop, qualify, and implement new products, product improvements and extensions
Provide technical support to product management, manufacturing, supply chain, and other functional groups
Develop robust designs for new, special, or existing products that can be produced economically and according to established project timelines
Co-ordinate between the design and production teams to ensure our end product meet high level of quality maintain low production error rate
Planned and executed general standard format for quotation and design standard to reduce the time wastage
Researched new materials and production techniques and discuss the reports with the engineering team
Met and coordinates with clients to maintain continuous production and maintenance
Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
Prepare using 2D and 3D CAD software mechanical drawings, detailed drawings and assembly models complete with calculated dimensions and tolerances
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing design services
Provide technical mechanical engineering design, advice, review and approval
Interface with clients and contractors to develop solutions and resolve technical issues
Mentor and develop junior staff
Contribute to and lead proposals including technical, schedule and cost components
Act as the Technical advisor to the team on all issues related to the healthcare business within Mechanical Engineering
Implement the Company's strategy relating to customers with regard to gaining repeat business
Create and maintain part and assembly drawings and Bills of Materials
Participate in design reviews
Create, manage, release, and maintain BOM’s
Developing and performing component verification testing and product validation testing
Perform necessary design calculations for the project, and ensure that calculations performed by others are accurate
Work closely with the engineering planner to develop/ review the project program
Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development and assist in transfer to manufacturing
Increase the overall production efficiency
