Summary:

I started my IT career with Wal-Mart back in 1998 working in the ITEMFILE area since then I have worked in a lot of different areas including Grocery, Replenishment and most recently on the systems side as a Mainframe DB2/IMS Database Administrator.

During these short 21 years, I have enjoyed a lot of challenges and have had countless learning opportunities from being the first programmer to incorporate MQ Series into a system to working on highly classified projects to protect the company.

I was lucky enough to lead a small team of DBA’s to bring up SAP for our customers back in 2008. I have been a part of bringing in Remedy7 into Wal-Mart and having the honor of being one of the first ever Remedy7 Change Coordinators. Same for Remedy8, ServiceNow and JIRA.

I enjoy troubleshooting and solving issues, I pride myself in being logical and always suggesting multiple options to solve an issue big or small. Plus, I thrive on challenges that make me think, research and grow.

I continually look for ways to find improvements in procedures or processes in order to improve efficiency. In addition, I always look for ways to automate (where possible) to reduce manual work and speed up productivity. I work best with supportive and engaged leadership. I have been given the opportunity to find something else I can excel at for which I am grateful and excited.

Work well under pressure and comply with deadlines. Great team player however, able to function as a separate entity. Possess determination, loyalty, motivation and sense of dependability. Dedicated to unleashing team’s full potential and mine as an individual.
