ACADEMIC PROJECT :

Project (M.Tech):

Exploring the Study of Solubilization Phenomenon for Removal of Priority Pollutants from Water Description: Cloud point extraction (CPE) was carried out for the removal of priority pollutant named as 2,4 Dinitrophenol (DNP) from aqueous solution using non-ionic surfactant. The influence of different operating parameters such as temperature, time, and concentration of surfactant and DNP on extraction of DNP have been studied in detail to find out optimum conditions. The ultra-violet spectrophotometric analysis was carried out for the calculation of the DNP extraction efficiency. The data of equilibrium concentrations and adsorption amounts in the present system at various temperatures followed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
