Major project (6 months)
Analysis of two wheeler piston made by Aluminum Alloy 7475-t761 The main aim of the project is to design a piston for 150cc engine for two materials Cast Iron and Aluminum Alloy 7475-T761. The designs of the piston are modeled using Pro/Engineer software. The designs are evaluated by structural and thermal analysis by applying pressures and temperatures respectively. The result is evaluated by checking the stress, displacement, thermal gradient and thermal flux to decide the best design of the piston. Structural and Thermal analysis are done in ANSYS software.
Mini project (3 months)
Design & Fabrication of gearless transmission
We have introduced gearless power transmission arrangement using adjustable links. In this transmission system no. of pins or links used must be odd...3, 5, 7, 9 centers of any two pins or links hole must not be on that line which represent the diameter of the shaft. Proposed arrangement used for skew shafts at any angle & if there is a need we can change the angle between shafts during motion or during intermittent motion with any profile of shafts having rotational motion along its own axis. The Working of this arrangement is very smooth & use very effectively with a very minimum amount of power losses. Graduate Apprenticeship
