JOB DESCRIPTION:

● Get approval for HVAC and plumbing Shop Drawings, MEP – Coordination Drawings, work method statement and Project specification from Project Engineer.

● Reviewing the design/shop drawing.

● Doing ESP calculation for Ducting to calculate Fan motor HP and pump head calculation.

● Responsible for preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and also prepare ESTIMATION for materials required as per specifications on site.

● Ensure the HVAC Ducts-Fittings-accessories, Chilled water pipes-fittings-accessories, PVC Pipes fitting and drainage pipes fitting accessories are available and approved by Inspection department prior to installation.

● Ensure sufficient hand tools, power tools, ladder and scaffolding are available for installation.

● Coordinate with other discipline and ensure site clearance available to start the HVAC and Plumbing Activities.

● Arranging sufficient manpower for installation works etc., ensure all the team attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior to start installation activities at site.

● Provide approved HVAC and Plumbing Shop drawing, MEP Coordination drawing to site foreman

● Advising to shift material from warehouse to site in order to avoid progress delays.

● Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with approved shop drawing and consultant’s specification.

● Monitoring the daily progress of site activities and update to project engineer or manager.

● Preparing relevant documents to conduct inspection for installation activities.

● Raise RFI to QC-Inspector (To ensure that any activity offered for inspection has an attachment of IFC drawing, method statement, Inspection & Test plan (ITP) followed by check list)

● Allocating resources as per schedule to achieve target.

● Carry out all planned site inspection as per the intervention points marked in the relevant drawing.

● Responsible for monthly work progress invoicing.

● Active involvement in weekly meetings with the Project management, QC Supervisor and manager to resolve the site related issues.

● Assist the Commissioning Team on Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) stages of the Air and Hydronic piping.
