LBG Payments landscape had point to point connectivity with various applications. Hence this increased the complexity of system and also increased the maintenance efforts for any solution implementation. Transaction Management Hub (TMH) was introduced as part of strategic solution to overcome these issues. Testing TMH was in itself a challenge due to unavailability/complexity/over utilized/ shared/constrained systems. Hence Service Virtualization technique was introduced to test TMH with various applications. Service virtualization is a method to emulate the behavior of specific components in heterogeneous component-based applications such as API-driven applications, cloud-based applications and service-oriented architectures.
