Sharp's business is pointed at the electronics market. Best known for its consumer electronics, the company is a leading maker of electronic components and computer hardware and peripherals. Its flagship components business makes Cell phones, LCD, flash memory, integrated circuits, and laser diodes used in optical data drives, PCs, printers, consumer audio and video products, such as Blu-ray disc players and LCD TVs.

Sharp company has its own mobile product in 3G network in the current market. Sharp Mobile phones have 3GApplication suite and having the features with good resolution.

I worked on a project with Sharp Telecommunications of Europe limited for testing applications on 3G mobiles.

This project deals with the audio application for which the songs list needs to be accessed from start to end fast. To achieve this need to change the component for moving the list for selection from the list to fast moving of the list from number of songs list. Porting of the component is done for viewing the lists of audio application. Porting of the List-info component and list view component with additional feature of scrolling in case of list viewing is done. Testing of the whole audio application and after porting testing the audio application features are working as per requirement and any other features of the audio application is affected by porting. Testing the Audio application when interrupted by other module functionality. Artist & album list related issues. Also, MMI Issues.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the client (Sharp) requirements for the audio Module.

Involved in the creation of Test Scenarios, Test Cases using Quality Centre.

Test case and Test Scenarios Review.

Prepared a set of functional test cases which is device specific.

This project deals with the messaging screens layout for different resolution. The resolution changes from model to model for which the screen layout need to be modified. The layouts for the screenshots of the messaging from lower resolution to higher resolution and rearranging the layout for some screen which will not be affected by resolution changes. Checking 360-degree rotation on Mail viewer and checking the modified title (2 lines to 1 line) in Landscape mode. Test the new changes in the screen’s layout and the effects on the whole messaging application.

This project deals with the Porting of messaging menu screens. Finding the interfaces of messaging module from other applications means finding the interface from other applications which launches messaging editor and porting the messaging module by checking that the other modules not affected by the porting.

Checking the refreshing the inbox count when new message comes in the messaging menu list. Finding defects in the ported messaging application.

Description: This project entails the design and implementation of the SIM based profiles support for all LG Models. The profiles which are to be shown as default is derived based on the MCC and MNC value of the SIM Card and the settings are appropriately selected for the profiles. Based on the MCC value should load all the default profiles related to one country or based on MNC value should load specific network profile depending on the country requirements.

Title : MMI and UI for LG Handset

Description:

This project entails the debugging and fixing issues related to MMI and UI like the Man Machine Interface related applications and User Interface applications on TTP COM platform which deals with look and feel applications. Like functionality wise behavior implementations and testing of related implementations. Also, issues related to all modules like call, camera, organizer, mp3 functionality relating to MMI and UI and Issues related to functionality of the modules when interrupted by other module functionality. Also, MMI Issues: backlight settings, Menu related, BMP related issues are also handled.

Responsibilities:

Tracking down the various signals generated during key events handling and module wise signals and identifying the defect location and fixing it as necessary.

Fixed all A Priority (High) issues in the stipulated time.
