Mainframe Technical Lead - Cognizant, San Antonio, Texas Feb 2014 - Present

•Executed proof of concept for DB2 to Oracle Migration project using the IBM DRDA and Oracle golden gate sync and implemented the solution successfully.

•Participated in the architecture/solution design and created contract/mapping documents to stand up new e-commerce Fulfillment Centre enable the existing host system to communicate with the Manhattan systems.

•Provide technical leadership and consultation to the digital engineering team working on the mainframe Retirement program, by extracting the existing business rules.

•Facilitated extensive analysis on the existing applications running on the host and proposed removing the obsolete ones to free up the storage for performance improvement and CPU savings.

•Proposed and implemented solution design for the vendor facing UI to access the host using the web services and MQ request/reply capability.
