OBJECTIVE
My short-term objective is to secure a
6-month international internship
opportunity in the Food & Beverage
department of a Hotel, Resort or
Restaurant whereby I will be exposed
to international standards and be able
to enhance my skills, knowledge and
overall experience. I am enthusiastic to
gain experience and absorb as much
knowledge as well as to bring my
previous experience to your property. I
believe that this opportunity will help
me to grow as a person within my
career goals and provide me with the
opportunity to familiarize myself with
the industry and business practices. I
will be completing my NQF level 6
Diploma at the international hotel
school this year which I am highly
confident will contribute to my
participation. Because of my education
it has provided me to gain experience
at one of the best hotels in
Johannesburg, there I learnt to work in
a buffet setting, working under
pressure and to work hard. My future
career goals are to manage a hotel
chain, to own few restaurant chains at
home to mainly provide opportunities
to some of the people that have the art
but not much of an opportunity to do
as much about it, to lend a hand to
people like me who aren’t as lucky as
me and I would take this opportunity to
provide exceptional customer service
and ensure guest needs are met.
