I am an adaptable professional ready to demonstrate technical abilities, with more than 25 yrs. experience in Hydro utilities power substation design. HIGHLIGHTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsible for the substation design, Electrical power supply and protection design

(4,16KV,6.3KV,15KV,34.5KV,115kv and 240KV): Use Auto-CAD and Micro-station software. Solar and Wind project applications Single Line Diagrams, Plan Drawings for Grounding, Lighting and similar during a design/development phase; we improve the projects ( based on CSA – Canadian Standards Association, CEC – Canadian Electrical Code, and other Rules and Regulations)

Managed and supervised a protection coordination study drawings use software like ETAP- EDSA to coordinate protection trip of breakers, and static load circuits with upstream feeding circuits, which includes Line, Transformer, Bus-bar, Generator, Motor and Load Protections.

Implemented all time Quality Assurance and Quality/Project Control mechanisms to maintain compliance with procedures and instructions.

Cable list and calculations, Cable trays – where NEC and CEC are not fully accorded ( cable spacing inside cable trays are checked for full load currents, VD’s are calculated, and other influent factors are analyzed)

Worked on the Project Design on upgrading of Single Line Diagrams, Substations, Switchgears, creating Data Sheets (Power Transformers, Breakers, Gen-Sets, MV/LV Motors, etc.), reviewing Technical Vendor Submittals ( Squad Checks), developing Bid Tabulations and Page 2

MRO - Material Requisition Lists, QC Quality control reviewing all in compliance with company and project instructions.

Worked on the Electrical Calculations, Grounding Calculations, Cable Sizing, static loads/feeders, transformers, gen-sets, sizing of breakers /fuses as part of coordination study, VD – voltage drops, total weight calculation ( info for structural engineers) etc. Worked on MCC’s – motor control centers, electrical installation drawings – layout drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics etc.

We design for 2x7.5 MVA Power transformers 44kV/13.8 Kv all other equipment.I made. calculations for Station Service transformer AC-DC system upgrade battery chargers sizing based on IEEE standards. New SLD and layouts are issued, and approved -stamped. Hamilton Data Centre project 10MW. Load calculations, cable sizing. SLD and General Layout drawings issued for proposal.
