“Microcontroller Based Advance Portable Infant Incubator with Monitoring of Vital Parameters”

Premature Babies face many problems in our normal environment like infections, allergies, hypothermia. Unrestricted noise, light levels that can cause harm premature babies, so we decided to make “Microcontroller Based Advanced Portable Infant Incubator with Monitoring of Vital Parameters” for Premature babies.

In our Design there are many parameters they give immediate protection to babies, it’s also portable and made with advanced technology with proper functioning.

Our device can measure all vital parameters like Body temperature of infants, Temperature and Humidity of incubator, co2 level and pulse oximeter. All the data of sensor we can see on thingspeak site and application through WI-FI module ESP8266. so pediatrician or neonatal care unit doctors can see all the measurement from anywhere and anytime.

It also controls temperature and humidity for temperature control when temperature increases cooling starts through Peltier plate's cold side and when temperature decreases Heating starts through Peltier plate's hot side. And Humidity control we use Ultrasonic mist humidifier.

Brief Features of Incubator:

It provides the ideal temperature and humidity for infant. It reads Temperature of body and temperature of atmosphere inside incubator It reads humidity inside incubator.

It reads PPM of air inside incubator.

It reads heart rate and oxygen saturation of the infant. It controls Temperature and humidity inside incubator. It shows vital signs of infant like temperature heart rate and oxygen saturation on LCD and also on website.

LCD displays continuous values of parameter’s reading Doctors can monitor parameters virtually because of IOT feature. I done all the hardware part in this device. For that I search for components which we can use in incubator and how it can be use in device. I read many articles, documents related to Infant incubator on google. Afterthat I tried the selected components individually and when they started to work perfectly then I connected all the components to the microcontroller.
