Operation Supervisor
Oversee the underground and surface drilling operation.
Coordinate with the outgoing shift operation supervisors to address any concerns in the operation.
Turn over reports about the operation to incoming shift supervisors
Conduct inspirational talk with the site crew to ensure smooth flow of work.
Give instructions and advice to site crew to improve the drilling operation.
Coordinate constantly with the Project Manager to discuss concerns and the needs to be addressed regarding the drilling operations.
Visit all drill sites at least once per shift, unless presence is extremely needed in a certain area.
Prepare periodical inventory of drilling equipment and accessories of the drill site.
Prepare Supervisor Shift Report.
Comply with the Safety Rules and Standards being implemented by the company.
Senior Driller
Ensure all the pre-start checks are performed diligently and carried out when specified.
Perform maintenance with capabilities, qualifications on rig, and be equipped in safe working order.
Ensure and present core sample in acceptable manner to meet the client’s specification.
Ensure that chips are placed on a chip box to avoid contamination.
Operate the rig in a manner that conforms to company’s performance, targets, policies, and procedures.
Keep accurate records of all drill bits, reamers, and all others used.
Keep accurate records of all fuels, oils, and all consumable used.
Ensure that drill site, work area, and equipment are maintained in clean and hazard free state.
Communicate all relevant information to co-workers promptly.
Discuss and report to the head supervisor the task completed and job flows run safely, smoothly, and without unnecessary delays.
Participate regularly in meetings.
Complete accurate daily shift report.
Lead the site crew during the mobilization and demobilization of the drill rig, equipment, and accessories.
Lead the site crew in setting up the drill rig, equipment, and accessories at drill sites.
Driller
Operate the drill rig properly.
Conduct inventory every start and end of the shift.
Comply with the safety standards.
Do proper turn over of work accomplishing to incoming shift supervisor of driller.
Prepare the accomplishment of the site crew through the FRM-OPN-001: Drillers Shift Report every end of the shift.
Instruct the drill helper.
Ensure proper pulling and blocking of core samples on the core boxes.
Prepare needed materials in drilling operation before proceeding at the drill site.
Participate during the mobilization and demobilization of the drill rig, drill equipment, and accessories.
Participate during setting up of the drill rig, drill equipment, and accessories.
Assist the driller in the preparation of the needed materials in drilling operation before going to the drill site.
Conduct proper housekeeping at the drill site before and after every shift.
Comply with the safety rules standards being implemented by the company.
