MAERSK Holdings – APM Terminals: April 2016 – March 2020 Responsibilities: Head of HSSE - Meridian Port Services Ghana Scope: New port expansion project.(1.5B $)

Designed and implemented a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental plan for the project and ensured all contractors and subcontractors follow, implement, communicate and coordinate it throughout the project. Manage, monitor and advise on all matters related to the Health and Safety of personnel and issues affecting/impacting the environment due to project activities, onshore and offshore. Achieved an excellent rating from the IFC (World Bank) and EPA on the way I managed their respective conditions and deliverables as set out by them. Manage consultants (AECOM) and contractors(Chinese-CHEC, French-Bollore and Italian-CONSAR) Chaired weekly HSSE meetings between PMC and Contractors and assist, lead and advice on any HSSE related issues. Lead weekly site walkthrough with management. Organized and lead regular internal audits on PMC (AECOM) and Contractors health and safety management systems. Lead investigations during major accidents. Weekly inspections at two Quarry sites.

Consolidated Contractors Company (Oman): May 2014 – March 2016. Responsibilities: Project HSSE Manager – BP Khazzan Project Oman. Scope: Engineering, Procurement and construction (EPC) of the Central Processing Facility (CPF) at the BP Khazzan field with two process trains. Also includes associated condensate processing system, power generation plant, water treatment system and all associated utilities and infrastructure.

Manage and implement the Project HSE&S Management System & Procedures in line with Contractors Policies and Procedures. Manage a team of 150 HSE Professionals, 60 Security personnel and maintain a daily working relationship with Line Management, Subcontractors and Client in relation of their respective compliance with the provisions of the HSE Policies, Procedures and Legal requirements. Attends all client and HSSE meetings. Carry out daily inspections on all sites, offices and camp accommodation. Investigate all incidents and accidents and implement necessary action. Ensure and assist with the adequate in-house training of all personnel. Ensure that protective and safety devices are in good condition and are used correctly when needed. Performing the following activities with regard to monitoring and supervision: Safety Inductions, JSA, Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks, Emergency Drills, Hoisting & Rigging Operations and all other day to day HSSE management duties.

Saudi Aramco: Saudi Arabia - Contract: June 2013 - December 2013 Responsibilities: Snr. HSE Specialist.

Conducts HSE inspections and audits of assigned Saudi Aramco areas of activities, contractors’ equipment, operations, maintenance and accommodation camps to ensure regulatory and HSEMS compliance. Provides expert advice on the selection of HSE contractors, vendors and equipment. Supports the central functional management of permit to Work systems across responsible Saudi Aramco sites. Supports HES emergency response activities and participates in accident investigation and reporting as required, relating to area of responsibility, ensuring minimal downtime to resolve emergencies and prevent recurrence. Provides guidance on workplace health & safety issues during site operations, maintenance & shutdown on responsible areas. Prepares regular reports on progress updates, performance review and planning reports for workplace health and safety . Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility and participates in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc. Ensure contractor staff complies with all Saudi Aramco’s policies & procedures and related initiatives.
