Make sure that the quality of materials used complies with the standards put by the design team such as testing the concrete cylindrical compression power in the laboratory after the concrete is being used

Work with the design team using Autodesk robot structural to determine the quantity and disposal of the reinforcement bars

As a civil engineer for 6 years at Bureau d’etude Bahjat et Maroun Khoury, an office specialized in structural engineering, I was responsible of receiving AutoCAD drawings issued by the design team, studying, and analyzing them to be implemented on site. Once on the site my mission was the supervision of the work and clarification of any misunderstanding that workers may face with the drawings work. I was making sure that every detail in the work is being done correctly starting by setting the concrete formwork, the disposal of reinforcing bars up to the pumping of concrete.

During this period, I have improved my leadership skills and learned more about technical problems that workers may face on site and how to solve it immediately after alignment with the design team. These 6 years of site work gave me a wide range of knowledge in structural reinforced concrete by combining my working skills on design programs such as robot, e-tabs, s-concrete, CSI safe and AutoCAD with practical works on site.
