BHEL is one of the largest engineering and manufacturing companies of its kind in India engaged in design, engineering, construction, testing, commissioning and services where producing Boiler auxiliaries for coal based Supercritical and Subcritical Boilers, gas based power projects and producing other subsidiaries. The main products are ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator), APH (Air Pre–Heater), Fans, Dampers, Gates, Silencers, chimneys, ducting, Structures and FGD (Flue- gas desulfurization etc.,

Achievements/Tasks:

Gained experience on Quality and Production departmental functions and Fan Operations.

Witnessed the production methods of Turbine Fans, ESP items, Ducts and manufacturing of other auxiliaries for Boilers at BHEL Work Shops.

Witnessed vendor shop visits for production stage inspections and monitoring the progress review with sub vendors during routine checks of BHEL Ancillary unit workshops.

PROJECTS:

Design and Fabrication Heat Exchanger (Spiral fin type) (2019): Device used to transfer heat between a solid object and a fluid, or between two or more fluids. The Spiral Fins are used in the heat exchanger in order to improve their efficiency.

Performance Study of Earth Air Heat exchanger (2020): A passive cooling technology and is a natural cooling system that consists of a network of pipes buried under the ground surface at a reasonable depth. It introduced in worldwide in order to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels for supply of electricity to air conditioning.
