Working as an Operation & Maintenance Engineer in 400 KV Gas Insulated Substation (Make: Alstom) and 33 KV Switchgear (Make: ABB)

Operating and monitoring of Gas Insulated Substations through SCADA system (DS Agile).

Monitoring SF6 gas level in circuit breaker and other equipment compartments and topping up of SF6 gas if it is required.

Analyzing of SF6 Gas purity and Gas Dew point.

Coordinating Daily Energy schedule forecasting for running Units and recording daily Export & Substation parameters.

Reporting weekly SEM reading and Time drift Adjustment & plant data to RLDC.

Carry out switching or other operations of equipment in the substation as per management and RLDC instructions.

Systematically logging & Analyzing the events& DR of relays (Alstom & ABB) and abnormalities like faults and tripping.

Monitoring of substation LCC alarm indication & protective relay indication, BCU, Ethernet in control panel, gateway in network panel and circuit breaker operation.

Maintenance of lightning arresters, wave traps, capacitor voltage transformer and PLCC&FOTE system.

Operation and maintenance of 220 V & 48 V battery bank along with its charger panel, 5KVA UPS,435MVA &45 MVA transformer, 50 MVAR bus reactors, 33 KV HT and 415V LT Switchgear.

Understanding electrical control schemes and Trouble shooting skills.
