CAREER OBJECTIVE:
Overall support to the HSE Manager in the promotion of approved Site HSE Plan, Monitoring and ensuring that the project activities are confirmed to the standard contractual requirements specified in the Safety plan like Heavy lifting and rigging, Scaffolding, Painting, Structural and Piping erection, Hot works, Electrical / Instrumentation and General Housekeeping. Supervise and support all Safety personnel regarding safety work permit procedure as per safety and health manuals. Conduct audit to ascertain compliance statutory or otherwise prevention of personal injuries and to provide a safe work environment. Reviewing standards and regulations promulgated by the Health and Safety division and compliance procedure that are disseminated to affected department. Conduct Safety Related Training for Construction phase preparation.

JOB PROFILE:-
Before starting any task on site, to ensure that Hazard Identification Plan (HIP) or JSA (Job Safety Analysis) must be there to prevent the Hazard.
Implementation of Client HSE Procedures and Regulations
Weekly and Monthly Walk through around the site along with Senior HSE personnel including Site Manager and Project Manager
Suitability check from the safety point of view for New & Hired Equipment and the validity of all appropriate test certificates.
Initiate Immediate stoppage of any operation that could cause death/injury or extensive damage to property and notify all concerned involved.
Conducting Safety orientation for newly hired employees, research & studies for the improvement of safety in the project.
Ensure daily controlling the job site hazardous like Unsafe act and Unsafe conditions
Attend the weekly meeting with subcontractor to discuss each and every safety concern including unsafe act & unsafe conditions and instruct them to resolve the issue immediately.
Assisting in the training of employees to promote awareness of incident prevention and damage control.
Ensuring strict adherence to Client Work Permit Procedures
Coordinating incident/accident response including first aid, rescue, evacuation, investigation and reporting.
Submitting reports to the HSE Manager
Liaison with the Construction Manager in Hazard Identification and establishment of preventative measures.
Check out potential hazards on new work activities before work commences.
Involved in ensuring proper Safety for assigned employees and Supervision of the site activities. Prepare daily report according to the site activities
Inspection of Personnel Protective Equipments
Inspection of Hand tools, Power tools and arrange proper colour coding
Inspection of Scaffold safety and usage of tags.
Inspection of Fire extinguishers
Ensure the working area to be barricaded and have proper sign board
Give instruction and coaching to the selected employees for Work Permit Receiver, Fire watch and confined space entry
Check out trenches, excavations. Make sure the “Emergency Exit, Sign board, lights” are provided.
Before starting the work, verify with supervisor the “Work Permit” and the works to be carried out.
