My duties for my job were to make sure the customers come in and leave with a smile. A biggest part of my job was customer satisfaction. I also had to do many things around the store in and out, just like everyone else. I answered the phones, took online orders, checked out online order pick ups, swept,organized, put returns back where they belong once they are retagged and in the system, took out the trash, opened new shipments and put them in their correct spot.

SmartStyles Salon, Findlay, OH — Receptionist/Hairstylist

February 2020 - September 2020

For the salon I started as a receptionist. I answered the phones to answer questions customers had and schedule appointments. As well did I have to unbox and restock shipments every week. Cleaning tools, sweeping, moping, and laundry. Once I was a stylist after I passed my Ohio State Board Cosmetology test in July, I started taking clients. I would have to make sure that my client leaves happy with their haircut, facial wax, color, or whatever it is they got done that day. I still had to do everything else that I did as a receptionist, but I had to close the store once I was capable. I also had to pick up deposit receipts from the bank and also drop deposits off at the bank.

As a server I get to make someone's day a little bit better. I am to make sure they are served in a timely manner, enjoy the food, and leave with a smile knowing they want to come back again. I also have to buss my tables, do outs before I clock out, roll silverware, and keep our work area clean.

August 2017 - May 2020

I graduated from Findlay HIgh School with my class of 2020! I was in the millstream program and tested for my cosmetology license. I passed the Ohio Cosmetology State Board and received my cosmetology license. I was also apart of the Gay Straight Alliance club as well did I help run a teens talk group, for mental health.
