Oversight of all operational departments in a full-service hotel setting included but not limited to front office, housekeeping, catering, food and beverage, maintenance. Acted as interim General Manager for several months, adding all accounting and financial responsibilities. Also took on Area Director of Sales responsibilities during a 4-month period with a job vacancy, selling group and LNR business for two local hotels, preparing monthly reporting, maintaining active relationships with clients, and working with brand to acquire access to several national accounts producing in the market. Sent to taskforce in sales, front office and assist in account and revenue auditing for over a month at an independent resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

APRIL 2016 – JUNE 2018

AREA REVENUE MANAGER, TPG HOTELS AND RESORTS, RHODE ISLAND

Assisted Area Director in oversight of 3-5 area hotels, with direct responsibility to 2-3 hotels at any given time. Maintained pricing structure and integrity in both a metropolitan market as well as an airport market, with significant seasonality. Forecasting, preparation of budgets, weekly and monthly reporting. Developed tiered pricing structure for area sales team, with group ceiling, transient protect, catering spend and MARs over periods of need, discussed pricing over tighter periods or future years via DBR process. Worked on Choice to Marriot brand conversion.

FEBRUARY 2015 – APRIL 2016

AREA DIRECTOR REVENUE MANAGEMENT, TPG HOTELS AND RESORTS, RHODE ISLAND

Oversight of 2 select service hotels in the market. Developed new pricing structures for both hotels, accounting for significant YOY RevPAR growth. Extensive analysis to determine pricing, and shift from discount to retail segments. Worked on brand conversion from a Wyndham Garden Inn product to a Hilton Garden Inn product.

APRIL 2014 – FEBRUARY 2015

HOTEL CONTROLLER/REVENUE MANAGER, TPG HOTELS AND RESORTS, RHODE ISLAND

Handled all aspects of accounting for the property including but not limited to: A/R, A/P, general cashiering, daily reporting, processing of all disputes, and daily credit processing, outlet auditing, inventory control, monthly expense forecasting, expense budgeting. Provided revenue forecasting, analysis, and pricing structures for a focused service 200 room airport property. Hotel was in a seasonal location and I implemented seasonal pricing structure as it was not implemented prior. Raised overall ADR from $81 to $115 without compromising a significant amount of occupancy, accounting for a 57% YOY RevPAR increase.

Handled all accounting for the hotel in addition to all aspects of human resources, from hiring and onboarding to payroll, garnishments, employee relations and reviews.
