University of Delaware Center for Catalytic Energy Innovation (CCEI) October 2015 – August 2016
Performed research under a Post-Doctoral student which aimed to find cheaper and easier ways to separate and utilize the components of biomass. Specifically worked on optimizing the organo-cat method of biomass fractionation.
Included a separate summer internship which focused on the optimization and kinetic modeling of xylan hydrolysis under many different molten-salt hydrate mediums.
