GENERAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviewing technical material submittal prior to submit to Consultant/Client.

Deep ability to read and interpret drawing and project specification.

Prepares work inspection requests (WIR) for each construction activity and submit to consultant to ensure it covers all the construction activities done on site.

Familiar with all kind of Civil, Architectural/Finishes and Structural Steel works.

Assists Project QA/QC Manager or Sr. QA/QC Engineer on implementing quality management system at site as per approved Project Quality Plan and IMS Procedures.

Ensure that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, and handled as per manufacturer’s recommendation.

Execute the work as per approved Shop Drawings, Method statement and ITP.

Surveillance inspection of all ongoing activities.

Implement the QA/QC procedure on site.

Inspect concrete mix design, concrete quality and proper techniques used in placing, and finishing operations.

Carry out the testing of material with third parties as per project specification, as per manufacture recommendation or international standard like QCS & ASTM.

Raising Inspection Request to Client/Main Contractor.

Attending Quality management meeting with Clients and subcontractors.

Carry out daily inspection with Client/Main contractor.

Raising Site Quality observation/NCR if the work at site is not comply with approved shop drawing project specification or Method statement/Quality control Procedure.

Ability to close out the NCR, undertake remedial action.

Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.

Ensuring that all equipment used for measuring and testing is in calibration and such records are available.

Assure all technical documents relative to site quality are current status.

Well versed with international standards in various sections of Civil Engineering.

Preparing weekly report of inspection activities.

Reporting the feedback to QA/QC Manager.
