WORK EXPERIENCE

Employer: Collaborative Packing Solution (Pty) Ltd Position: Quality Assurance Trainee
Responsibilities:
o Spot check during production (packaging date coding verification, seal integrity check, and net content verification).
o Hygiene Monitoring Swabs.
o Identify and communicate non-conforming product to the QA Manager for further action. o Ensure compliance to Good Lab Practices, good housekeeping practices and 5S Workplace organization. o Pathogen Environmental Monitoring.
o Moisture test analysis of raw materials.
o Printing batch code labels.
o Verify cleaning and sign off production lines.
o Develop PSDs (Product Specification Dossier).
o Keeping quality on retention samples.
o Prepare & send pre-shipment samples to Nestle Head office and NQAC. o Allergen swabs (Generic product changeover).
o Capturing actual content of pre-packed Nestle products on the Nestle LP Form, according to the SANS 1841 and sending summary release of Nestle products.

Responsibilities:
o Ensuring all quality checks are done correctly and recorded accurately and neatly on BMR, Quality Control Checklist, Production Activity Logs, Scale Verification Log, and Premises Inspection Check sheet. o Quality checks of product, packaging, and equipment before, during and after each batch at the scaling, merging, mixing, sieving, packing, and labelling.
o Reporting any food safety or quality issues of stock immediately to the Quality Manager. o Ensure compliance to Good Lab Practices, good housekeeping practices and 5S Workplace organization. o Conduct weekly Personal Hygiene inspection, to ensure personal hygiene code of conduct is always followed.
