Work experience / Projects
Ausdauer Motorsports (SAE e-baja), Chennai 04-2019 to 02-2020
Developed electrically operating All-terrain vehicle (ATV) with reference to the standard of SAE, to meet the battle with our competitors. In this project my roles were,
• Performed design calculation for suspension, steering, powertrain and brakes. Created 3D part models, assemblies and drafting of components in CAD software. Reduced the weight of vehicle up to 10% of previous design, by changing frame material to ANSI 4130.
• Prepared DFMEA report, design comparison, BOM of whole vehicle. Involved in validating plans and benchmark studies, thus contributed in enhancing the overall performance of vehicle.
• Applying GD&T concepts in 2D drawings as per ASME and good in handling electric components.
Design and Analysis of Arduino based continuous variable transmission. 01-2021 to 06-2021
An innovative project which replaces the centrifugal bearing of typical CVT and uses the advantage of hydraulic power and micro-processor to obtain required speed ratio.
• Being head of the project, motivated and assigned work to team members. Designed the complete project in Solidworks. Static, fatigue (HCF and LCM) stress analysis using Ansys Mechanical.
• Involved in converting conceptual design in to detailed design, presenting PPT slides and documents.
Garrett motion, Certification course. 05-2021 to 06-2021
Undergone training in turbochargers, as the outcome of it acquired wealthy knowledge in different types and components of turbochargers, Heat and ventilation, bearings and lubrication in central housing.
Industrial internship in NSIC, Chennai. 03-2021 to 04-2021
Exposed to machining, assembly, manufacturing process such as Forging, casting and rapid prototyping using 3D printers. Knowledge on material handling and selection. Good in preparing scientific report using MS office.
