WORK EXPERIENCE
Aug 2019- Present: Graduate Structural Engineer, ARUP Zimbabwe Pvt, Ltd Structural design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings. Working in a multi-discipline environment to plan, design, monitor construction and commission projects that meet client and end user requirements.
Duties:
o Structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete buildings and foundation systems.
o Issuing of construction drawings.
o Reinforced concrete detailing
o Producing sketches, reviewing construction drawings and providing support and input to drafting team.
o Site visits to monitor construction quality and check compliance to health and safety standards.
o Drafting project communication reports; site visit and inspection reports, minutes, specifications, and scopes of work.
