I am looking for a job that will require me to use my military training and put my management skills to use. As well as an opportunity to continue the use of my Kaizen skills, layout, station layout, cost saving, and logistics. And to be challenged. Most importantly I am looking for job opportunity that promotes growth within knowledge and gradual promotion within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

At my current job I have been promoted to the Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) department within the first 6 months at a tier one supplier, and management college courses, and Magna leadership programs

I have received awards for excellent customer service

I was awarded a Good Conduct Medal from the Marines which is given to Marines when they have 3 straight years of faithful service without any misconduct

I was award Navy-Marine Achievement Medal for being Named Marine of the Quarter 3 straight quarters and winning a conduct broad for Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

At my current position at Magna Seating Detroit, I assist in setting up workstations, layouts, tooling, supervision, and lead C.I projects. I have the knowledge of takt time, run-it-rate, and communicate changes in a union-based manufacturing plant. As well as training others I assist making layout changes, problem solving, train and implement standardized work, built racking and carts, create warehousing supermarkets, material convince routes, cycle time-to-takt time graphing, time studies, and any other daily improvement-based issues. Line rebalances and knowledge of business plans and cost reduction. With my current role I understand A-3 report out formats, shop floor management, and lean principles.
