JOB DESCRIPTION

As a SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Performs Daily Toolbox Meeting before work starts.

Attends daily tasks and activities in the site or specified working area to ensure that the right procedures of each activity are in accordance with company’s safety policies and program.

Works with EH&S committees and prepare EH&S training record using training passport in combination with training stickers and attendance sheets independently and/or in coordination with other EH&S staff.

Assist to complete accident / incident terms forms for on site and in site accidents related to project.

Performs inspection and update for (MCP) Manual Call Point, fire detector and firefighting equipment’s regularly and report finding to concern in time for corrective action.

Ensure tools and equipment including vehicles are inspected, tested and with TUV or Third Party Certificates and enter as required by relevant procedure and inspections recorded using appropriate term and provides safety signage at all places in the project site.

Ensure the availability of work permits prior to start of any work. Secured and renewed specific permit like Hot Work and Cold Work Permit, Confined Space Entry Permit, Electrical Work Permit, Vehicle Moving Permit, and Radiation Permit and together with the possible required Associated Permits.

As a SAFETY OFFICER

Monitor work area through the pro-active enforcement of EH&S rules and regulation.

Implement the requirement of Work Permits and other required documents prior to begin any work.

Inspect all (TPC) Third Party Certificates for the whole lifting team, lifting equipment and rigging materials prior to start lifting activities to ensure the prevention of flaws while doing the lifting activity.

Conduct Daily Toolbox Meeting prior to start any work which is related to the task that needs to be done.

Mandates all employees to comply with the use of personal protective equipments while working on the hazardous areas and Ensure that personnel are working based on the work permits acquired.
