Plant Engineering and Layout:

Creating Plant Layout in 2D and 3D with all the Car Body & 2Wheeler Segments, Structural Platforms, Equipment’s, Robots, Conveyors, Material Handling Systems, Storage Buffers while following all Safety Codes for setting up of the complete Paint shop (PS) & Final Assembly Systems (FAS).

Optimization of layout & checking collisions with equipment, duct openings, Platform & Buildings, process flow and coordinates with teams internally for easy handling & better efficiency.

Checking all the products and its supports, conveyor direction, Material Handling Equipments, Loading & Unloading area, Positioning & Transport Equipments, work-decks & maintenance platforms etc.

Works on level maintenance, building supports, integrated concepts, aesthetic & safety aspects of the layout and incorporating the improvisation points (If any) received from the customer. 3D-Modelling and Detailing:

Generating bill of materials from 3D models and creating 2D detail drawings for fabrication & installation.

Coordinates with the customers and gets the required input and manages the team of five people in preparation of fabrication & installation drawings.

Visits the plant/site for knowing the punch points & follow up and interacts with customers to understand the requirements and supervises them at site.

Purchase & Procurement:

Creates Bill of Materials and raises the Purchase Request (PR) with its Quantities, Material classification, grades and specifications for Fasteners, Rolled Sections, Sheet metals, Industrial Accessories, pipe & pipe fittings procurement.

Manages Stocks and coordinates with the Purchase & Warehouse team for releasing the Purchase Request & Purchase Order on time for Fabrication & Installation.

Finds the suppliers, negotiates with them on the raw material cost, fabrication, transportation cost and coordinates with them on delivery schedules and helps in Reconciliation/Amendment/Short closure of PO.
