Amazon Ftw3/Ftw4, Fort Worth Texas— L4 Management
November 2018 - December 2019
I was a part of one of the fastest launches in Amazon history. During the peak season we had a launch goal of 1 million items received and stowed. We exceeded and crushed the goal with almost 2 million. I directly supervised and trained a team of 30-40 employees in multiple tasks. Such as how to properly use the scanning equipment and computers to receive/ship and transfer products, how to ‘deep dive’ and use the programs to filter and eliminate errors. I was trained and trained my team on how to organize and run a shipping yard. Accurately intake/outake each truck on the yard, creating labels and logging in each truck into the system and how to properly load/unload a shipping container. I was directly involved with the certification of each one of our team members on the stand up/sit-down and cherry pickers. I myself was certified in stand up/ sit-down, cherry, double forks, clamp and handling hazardous materials. Policies and procedures were key in maintaining a safe and lean work environment.
