Job Responsibilities as a Radiographer:

Responsible for supporting the Radiology department and the team of professionals involved in, providing radiographic service to all patients under the care of the Hospital.

Responsible for all patient while under the care, duty of the hospital by preparing and safely positioning of the patient in order to get the most accurate images.

Supporting and assisting Radiologist”s and physicians with advanced preparation and imaging.

Maintaining a good communication skill with all patients before and after procedures.

Accountable for organizing work schedule and maintaining accurate patient records.

Working as a radiology department machines custodian to ensure the safety and good working condition of that.

Other tasks and duties may involve, Performing CT Scan, General X-rays, Mammography, Fluoroscopy procedures, C-arm, Portable X-rays, OPG & Cephalograms and assisting in Ultrasound Rooms.

Procedure Assisting:

CARDIAC CT SCAN system with ADVANTAGE WINDOW for all ANGIOGRAMS, routine whole body CT Studies (Plain & Contrast) and soft tissue, Bony 3D especially for Facio maxillary injuries and multiplanar reconstructions (sagittal & coronal’s) for all extremities and Biphasic & Triphasic studies and also.

DR System & fluoroscopic unit for all routine X Rays and Special investigations of Double contrast studies ( Ba Swallow, Ba enema, Ba upper GI & IVP, HSG, Urethrocystography, Retrograde pyelography, etc.).

Operating advanced Digital Mobile X Ray unit for all Emergency cases in EMEMRGENCY CARE, ICCU, Dialysis Unit and ward.

Operating highly advanced 3D C Arm system in operation theatre for the surgeries of Ortho, Gastro, Urology, HSG etc.

Assisting Radiologist for the Arthrogram procedure with C Arm unit.

Operating an advanced 3D Tomosynthesis Mammography unit.

Operating highly advanced OPG & Cephalometric unit.

Assisting radiologist’s for routine cases and US guided procedures ( FNAC, Tapping, True cut Biopsies…) in advanced 3D & 4D ULTRASOUND machines.
