With a background in food service, I quickly came to learn and love interacting with others. Finding the consumer's needs has been an easy task for me. Aside from extreme cleanliness, my skill set includes working with and managing a team.
Currently, I am the Post Processing Trim/Harvest Technician/Cure Lead at C3 Industries. Authorized to work in the US for any employer
Work Experience
Trim/Harvest Technician/Cure Lead
C3 Industries - Portland, OR
September 2018 to Present
My main duty is to oversee and manage the curing process, an integral step in maintaining a high quality product on an industrial level. Being the liaison for the post processing side, I delegate a small team along with the other leads to stay on schedule and reinvigorate any shortcomings within a department. Working in a booming industry, I've had my fair share of training new employees, growing them into an unstoppable workforce that has taken over the industry in 3 states (we continue to grow). We have a few contests under our belt, including the 2019 High Times Cannabis Cup 1st place award. Teacher Assistant
Beaverly Cleary School/Hollyrood-Fernwood School - Portland, OR December 2014 to January 2015
Responsibilities
Each day, I would begin with cleaning off things such as isles, stamps, paintbrushes, etc., until the morning bell rang. The kids would be seated, or led to their seats by me if they didn't know where to go. I would then help with any questions the kids had about their morning work, and going about the room making sure they were all on task and knew what they were doing. I would help kids read, write, sound words out, and I would grade their work.
Accomplishments
Like with teaching any student body, if you're doing it right the kids will love you. I found this at the end of each school year, and it felt great knowing a class would be missing me. As for the teacher I would assist, she was very appreciative of my work around the classroom. Skills Used
For working with kids, I was able to confidently calm them down when they would get riled up and loud
(which was quite often), as well as teach them their lesson in words they would understand. If the kids were seriously acting out, I was not afraid to take necessary action (within my limitations, of course), in cases such as school fights, arguments, kids crying and having temper tantrums, things like that. Food Runner/Busser
Portland Meadows - Portland, OR
2015 to 2015
Responsibilities
Ran food to the customers. Answered any and all questions asked by customers (the location is a horse race track, so questions relating to things other than the restaurant were abundant). Kept the other runners in order.
Skills Used
I used my skills in multitasking to be able to order other runners to bring the food orders to the right customers, as well as keep myself in check and being able to deliver all of the correct orders. I proved I could handle high stress situations when dealing with multiple food orders. I also expressed my outgoing persona when interacting with the customers of the horse track and restaurant.
