Scheduling and coordinating daily planning of collections ensuring that fleet is planned according to customer collection bookings and requirements
Ensuring that fleet is planned in the most effective way to minimize costs through optimized routes and maximum vehicle utilization.
Ensuring that all collection bookings from suppliers are logged on Wayware and are executed effectively and efficiently and that they are recorded properly in the call list.
Ensuring that run/ log sheets are completed on a daily basis for the next day.
Check bookings that are not executed and communicate them with suppliers immediately and advise the supplier when the collection will be actioned.
Ensuring that the servicing of trucks and trailers are scheduled, planned and executed timeously
Operation of weighbridge and stock flow management.
Ensure that drivers, trucks and trailers are in compliance with the national road traffic act and that all incidents or accidents are logged and communicated to applicable personnel.
