I opened the store in the morning. Turned on the ovens, checked food temperatures, and started prep alone every day. At lunch time I would be making orders, delivering food, taking orders, and cleaning the store. I would make all the dough and cheese every day after lunch and before supper, while also taking, making, and ringing up orders on my own. I would write the orders for what we needed from our distributer, and put them away when they came in. I did this 6 days a week most of the time, although a couple days would be lunch only. I did not miss a day of work in fifteen years. Produce Clerk

Worked as much as I could part time during high school here. I would come in the afternoons, and rotate and stock the entire department. I would make a list of what was needed, grab the boxes from in back and make a cart so I could be as efficient as possible. I would sort out the bad product, and dispose of it. I would make everything look organized and professional. My other duties included preparing the vegetables, whether that meant washing the leafy greens and putting them in bags, to coring pineapples, to wrapping and pricing zucchinis. Taking out trash and disposing of cardboard after breaking it down was also a daily task.
