Lead and oversee VT/HT at JFK Terminal One installation project. Serving as project manager responsible for overseeing extensive elevators, escalator and moving walkways demolition/ installation/maintenance on behalf of the client, the AECOM Tishman.

This includes removing existing vertical transportation equipment in the preexisting T1 &T2 terminals prior to the construction demolition and installing 98 new elevators, 92 new escalators and 12 new moving walkways. The work is phased with project completion expected over a 6 years period.

Duties include selection of the qualified VT/HT contract bidders as Otis/Thyssenkrupp/Schindler/Kone, negotiate the material and labor cost/ pricing accordingly to the NY&NJ Port Authority requirements, budgeting and pricing equipment, select qualified labor according to the LWR’s, revision/correction and approval architectures and shop drawings, scheduling VT/HT units installation accordingly to base line construction schedule, select appropriate types of the new VT/HT elevators, escalators and moving walkways unites supervising projects performed by subcontractors involved in the removal, replacement, and re-installation of the elevators, escalators and moving walkways in accordance with applicable New York City building codes and NY&NJ Port Authority compliance.
