As a Teacher, Instructor & Trainer, I strive to instill in my clients that knowing how to learn is as important as what they learn. In this part-time position, I am responsible for advising new and returning students, career assistance and scheduling, in addition to assisting with New Student Orientations. I begin by identifying high school student needs as well as those of transfer students, through standardized assessments, observation and interview techniques. I am tasked with providing pre-admission advising and financial aid information for potential students. I excel at communication and organizational skills that I use for student records, financial plans and graduation audits.

Responsible for development, planning and instruction of College Reading, English Language Skills and Master Student courses in the College Prep Program. I effectively apply literature search strategies to locate timely, relevant and useful resources that support my student's individual needs. I serve a very diverse community of Adult Learners and recent high school graduates. In these courses, I use web applications and online homework support programs.
