B.TECH . Final Year Project:

Title: Design of Stripper and Heat Exchanger in Amine Recovery Unit and Study on safety in Amine Recovery Unit .

The tenure was fully utilized in reducing the percentage of Sulphur in the Amine Recovery Unit. The entire project revolved around designing of Stripper in the Amine Recovery Unit for the requirements that is given by the personnels of the organization. Finding the reasons for low temperature efficiency in the inlet of feed in the Heat Exchanger and suggesting them a correct design. Safety measures that has to be followed by the employees in the organization has been studied through Fault Tree Analysis and appropriate measures were suggested .

Estimation of steam leakage and preventions:

This mini project along with the main project dealt with the estimation of steam leakage in the industry and the economic loss of the company was calculated and quoted to them and appropriate preventive measures were found and suggested to the authorities of the industry. R.L. ABISHA
