As the Activities Director of a Luxury Apartment home community it was my duty to coordinate and create a lifestyle for our residents to live, work and play in our 16,000 sq. ft. clubhouse. Brand new in 2019, I implemented physical programming for our residents in a brand-new state of the art fitness center. Creating weekly classes in Spin, Yoga, Fitness Training and Boot Camp. Offering aquatic classes to include Aqua Yoga, Aqua Zumba and pool deck Advanced Yoga. Supervised and managed a daily continental breakfast for residents and added weekly specials to the menu like, Smoothie Bowls, Yogurt Parfaits, delectable doughnuts and pastries from nearby vendors. Before COVID a Rise and Shine Brunch and Omelet station were part of the calendar. Managed all the USFood and Canteen ordering for our breakfast and helped implement a Mini Market in the main clubhouse through Canteen which offered snacks and drinks for a self-serve Point of Sale system.

Responsible for set-up, preparation and take down of each event. Held at least 26 events a month to include our fitness classes, virtual events, and outdoor gatherings. Movie nights, outdoor concerts, food trucks, cooking classes, art and crafts and Open Houses.

Managed an Out of the Box Work experience where non-residents could pay a monthly fee and use the community center as their workplace. Handled the marketing and became a member of the Chamber of Commerce working closely with local companies and vendors building solid relationships to ensure enhancement for community events. Built a relationship with the local Wegman’s for Welcome Bags for new residents, held monthly Valet Trash Webinars and scheduled lunch and learn luncheons with local Doctors and Insurance companies to educate our residents of new and upcoming programs.

Responsible for monthly budget, credit card expenditures and office supplies. Was responsible for a weekly events report to include photographs that were sent via email to our Management Team. Handled all social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, video’s and media sources. Created a monthly Calendar, newsletter and beautifully creative flyers along with a Chalkboard at the entrance of the clubhouse.

My role at the Lifestyle Director helped to maintain a level of programming for an active adult community. Promoting social environments for them to thrive in. Helping to enhance their lives with clubs, classes, trips and tours with a wide variety of common interests. Events geared around being an active retired senior. My role as the Lifestyle Director plays an integral role in planning, marketing and the implementation of Association programming. Nurturing the vibrancy of the local community, promoting socialization, enriching the resident quality of life and helping to enhance property values were amongst my overriding goals in this position. Programming encompasses a wide variety of community events, classes, clubs, trips and tours with a wide variety of other activities targeted to align with the unique needs and interests of the resident base. I provide opportunities for participation in multiple dimensions of health and wellness. Events and activities oriented toward physical, social, creative, intellectual and vocational needs and interests of the community. My responsibilities also included Facility Rentals, ordering office supplies, advertising for the newsletter and also building a 16 page full color newsletter by monthly distributed to the community. I handled all marketing for events through social media. Summer Concerts in the outdoor Amphitheatre and working closely with the Boy Scout Troop that Ladysmith Village Chartered. Managed 25 single family and townhome rental properties in the Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. Built relationships with landlords to list properties in MLS, screen potential rental clients, walk-throughs, lease agreements. All maintenance issues include scheduling of contractors, monthly rents, invoices, and payments to landlords. Handled all Evictions if necessary and yearly financial statements for tax purposes. Managed the Real Estate office in ordering supplies, new hire paperwork, payroll and HR issues. Handled all Administrative duties to brokerage firms- Scheduling home inspections, termites, retrieval of HOA docs and at times walking prospective homeowners for -final walk-throughs and sitting at closings.

Project Coordinator position for 60 homes at a time in different stages of the construction process. Handled permitting, inspections, scheduling and communicating with trades to insure all work was completed to market.
