Responsibilities To design, build and support the linux systems through puppet, spacewalk tools for the datacentre servers until it turns over to the production state. Also worked as a backup administrator using avamar/Mozy tool for more than 2000 store servers.

Project This project involves providing infrastructure support for the UNIX and Windows Engineering Support, functioning day to day activities and providing maintenance solutions. Carried out the following activities:

There are more than 15000 UNIX Servers out of which 1000 are AIX and the remaining is Linux. This includes the Production servers, development servers and the testing servers where all the applications are installed and tested before going live.

Support the Unix environment which runs on different operating system includes RHEL 5/6/7, Centos, and AIX on both production and non-production datacentre and store environment.

Involved in co-ordination with OS and hardware vendors to keep the production system stable.
