• Led a team of six responsible for overall Information Assurance & Security posture of eastern Afghanistan.

• Monitored, reported, and tracked all IT systems to include three operational networks, network devices and cybersecurity compliance in according with DoD regulations and policies.

• Served as the Windows 10 migration project lead for US Forces Afghanistan overseeing the migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with over 20,000 workstations. Oct 2011 – Oct 2015: Network Engineer/Assistant Director, 20th Support Command

• Led a team responsible for the design, implementation, troubleshooting and security of the 20th CBRNE Command’s strategic and forward deployed networks.

• Configured and implemented Active Directory Federation between US Forces Korea and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) – Pacific in Hawaii, saving US Forces Korea over 20 million dollars in travel expenses per fiscal year for war simulation exercises.

• Planned and coordinated replacement of over 2,500 computers at the End-Of-Life (EOL) cycle with upgraded systems increasing proficiency over 70%.

• Served as the forward deployed Assistant Director of Communication advising the Command on all IT best practices.

• Created DRP for organization and led DRP rehearsals bi-annually Sept 2009 – Jul 2011: Tactical Systems Program Manager, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell Kentucky

• Led a team responsible for planning, integrating, maintaining and troubleshooting all tactical systems within the 101st Airborne Division to include subordinate units at Fort Campbell and NATO forces while deployed in eastern Afghanistan.

• Areas of focus include satellite communications, GPS technologies, long range network radio technologies, VOIP phones, and VTC sessions.

• Also responsible for analyzing, planning, and executing Communications Security support for all mission requirements within the command to provide reliable strategic communications.

• Was selected above peers to serve as the US Communications Director for Polish Forces in south eastern Afghanistan responsible for the Polish LAN, tactical communications and overall cybersecurity. Oct 2007 – Sep 2009: Communications Security Program Manager, 1st Signal Brigade, Camp Yongsan, S. Korea

• Responsible for managing five Communications Security accounts dispersed in various locations around Korea.

• Draft communications security policies and ensured all Communications Security administrators were adequately trained on all Communication Security procedures to include disaster recovery plans.

• Responsible for planning, analyzing and executing all Communications Support within the command to accommodate peacetime, transition to war and war time communications support between Joint and Army operations.
