Engineer (Contractor)

Was a project engineer doing design, drafting, testing, pre-flight testing and back up drawing checker on Rodent Research Habitat (AEM-X), Rodent Research Transporter (AEM-T), Lockheed Martin's engineer/designer and test lead on the Animal Access Unit (AAU), KITS for Rodent Research (RR-1), Rodent Research (RR-2), and Fruit Fly Lab (FFL).

The KITS development was a combination of medical and experimental equipment to be used on the ISS (International Space Station).

Designed and built ground test and training fixtures for Rodent Research at NASA’s Kennedy and Johnson Flight Centers.

Did design work for the Telescope Assembly Alignment Simulator (TAAS) for the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) project using Pro/Engineer.

Worked in the systems engineering configuration management group to maintain aircraft modification drawings in WindChill.

Have had WindChill training on WinChill administration, workflow administration, and used WinChill with Pro/Engineer.
