JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Permit Applicant/Permit Receiving for the maintenance jobs.

Following the jobs and their requirements sequence wise.

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of pipes.

Knowledge to study and understand the Isometric drawing.

Supervise the supervising installation of piping works properly.

Supervision of Hydro Test of Piping and Equipments.

Supervision the maintenance activity focus on static equipment during shutdown/turnaround do the plant.

Supervising team of local personnel and being involved in the whole activities.

Shutdown/turnaround with specific focus on static equipment, the heat exchanger, fin fan cooler columns etc.

Report to mechanical construction superintendent.

Authorize withdrawal of equipment/material from the warehouse.

Analyze additional work and modifications to determine the cause and the solution to be implemented.

Supervision of all activity related equipments and ensures safety and quality standards of the client.

To stop personnel on site who are seen to be working unsafely or without the appropriate PPE.

Make sure that activities should be done in accordance with standard codes of practice, applicable job specifications, QCP (quality control procedures implementation at the jobsite.

Ensure sufficient and suitable resources and equipment are available to complete all mechanical repair work within the agreed program.

Responsible for all Mechanical work in workshop and transfer of knowledge to supervisor and technician.

Plan and monitor the progress of work according to the project schedule and prepare weekly progress reports for the work completed.

Report daily performance activities to Sr. Engineer.

Supervise the activities of the assigned mechanical maintenance crew in the field, give the technical direction and guidance for safe trouble shooting and repair jobs.

Internal& External Maintenance of floating head type exchangers, U tube exchangers, fixed tube exchangers and Fin fan exchangers.

Coordinating with client for hydro test, final inspection and box-up of equipment.

Coordinate with other Contractor discipline supervisor as required.

Coordinate with Client discipline representative.

Manage work acceptance operations and follow-up of the punch lists.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, HYDERABAD.

Intermediate from Oriental College Patna City, Bihar.
