Professional Experience

An Electrical & Instrumentation Technician with 10 years of experience in Installation & Commissioning, Maintenance, Operations and Process Enhancement in: Aluminum Smelter – Pot Room Area. Alumina smelting furnace.

PTA ELECTRICALS: General Trouble shooting of Rockwell Automation system like Ethernet, Device net etc., AC drives, Encoders, Allen Bradley make PLC(control Logix),Remote control system, Load cell, Insulation monitoring system, AC motors, Transfer gantry for transferring PTA & Raising girder etc.

Involvement in the Pre-ops (POV),Commissioning and Start-up of the several project in reduction (New generation PTA of ECL, TRANSFER GANTRY,CTC, Pot Equipment like Anode beam raising frame (ABRF),Metal ladle lifting beam (MLLB),Bath ladle lifting beam (BLLB), Start-up Tilter etc.

Involved in preoperational verification & commissioning of Pot line electrical equipments like ATFD, CAFD, Anode effect lamp, POV of level-1 of ALPSYS SYSTEM.

Supporting the pot start-up team as a start-up team member during the start-up of 100 pots in Mahan Aluminium (Green Field Project).

Overhead cranes, Transfer gantry, raising girder and Anode beam motor etc.

Doing multipurpose activities in pot operation of smelter.

Identifying & elimination of insulation fault between different potentials & power fault in PTM, CAFD, ATFD, and Earthing Trolley required for mid-point earthing etc.

Troubleshooting of control circuit in HT/LT switch gears.

Have experience in industrial wiring.

Repair and maintenance of New Generation PTA (ECL) and Multipurpose Crane.

Repair and operation of radio remote controls system used in EOT cranes.
