Title: Flexible Pavement with Differential Materials Description: The project is aimed at research is going on in different directions to improve the quality of Flexible Pavement in terms of modifying the bitumen with various additives, thus improving the binding of bitumen and strength of road. In dry process the aggregate is modified by coating with polymers and producing a new modified raw material for Flexible Pavement. The process has obtained patent also. Coating of polymers on the surface of the aggregatehasresultedin manyadvantages andultimatelyhelps notonlytoimprovethequality of flexible pavement but also many newer scientific details are derived from the study of the process and from the performance studies of the Plastic TarRoad. Inadditiontoimprovementofthequalityof theroad,thistechnologyhashelpedtouse the waste polymers obtained from domestic and industrial packing materials. This has added more value to the dry process at this process helps to dispose 80% of the waste polymers usefully by an Eco-friendly method. This has already been accepted by the Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi. They have already released a guideline on the technique of the road laying by dry process and its advantage. The organization also extends 50% subsidiary for laying Plastic TarRoad.

Moreover, the use of polymers helps to reduce equivalent quantity of bitumen, thus reducing the cost of the road laying.
