OBJECTIVE
To use my LTE and UMTS background in RAN and Handset Testing to help lab-verify and deploy the new 5G infrastructure and end-user devices as an individual contributor or team lead/manager.
SUMMARY
My background includes requirements analysis, test case creation, test planning, test execution, results documentation and bug tracking from initial bug discovery to verification of the final solution. I have performed these duties as a manager and as an individual contributor. I have interfaced directly with internal engineers, carriers and end-users to investigate issues encountered during development, customer acceptance and post deployment.

Provided verbal and written reports to Sonim hardware Engineers in China and software engineers in India
Opened formal bug reports via Bugzilla, Jira and Confluence.
Performed the final verification of fixes to get the customers’ approval of solutions before formal release.

The team executed tests, documented all non-conformances, worked with software and hardware designers to determine root cause of non-conformances and interfaced with the formal certification test labs to resolve issues encountered during formal testing.
Developed test strategies to simultaneously test multiple products and software releases while maintaining product schedules and product quality.
Established a cooperative working relationship between BlackBerry test labs in Bochum Germany, Waterloo Ontario and Sunrise Florida to significantly reduce the equipment capitalization costs at each lab.
Communicated directly with Qualcomm to address certification test failures found in their cellular chipsets/firmware.
Product Acceptance Test Manager
Created an internal lab to pretest the Radio, Protect the Network and Application sections of AT&T’s 10776 product acceptance spec.
Supplemented BlackBerry engineers with subcontracted Aircom AT&T Verification Lab (AVL) personnel to help insure the test procedures, pass/fail criteria and results from the internal testing would be the same as during the formal AVL testing.
Worked with Aircom to resolve issues found during formal testing in their AVL.
