Analyzed, designed, developed, installed, maintained and supported a wholesale warehousing system utilizing the OMNIA software package. This also included numerous in-house developed interface systems to support the unique requirements of Genesco’s wholesale shoe business model. Responsibilities included:

Continuous year around implementation of EDI projects to allow new wholesale customers to send edi 850 documents to Genesco that would allow orders to be created in the Omnia system. These orders would then flow through the system and return numerous edi documents to the customer including the 810, 812, 846, 855 and 856 to name a few. Modifications to Cobol programs supporting these documents were required in many instances.

Project Lead over the analysis, design, development and implementation of a Customer Returns system that included online screens and backend modules written in Cobol that were initiated by online powerbuilder screens which utilized MQ in the Unix environment. System also had numerous batch Cobol programs that were initiated using Unix scripts that were scheduled using the Zena scheduling platform.
