Report directly to Technical Services Engineering Manager as engineering support to maintenance for Large Pumps and Motors Program. Perform extensive work with ASME/B31.1.and B31.9, API, and MIL Standards for Machinery. Communicate and interface with NEIL Nuclear Insurers for reporting on Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Program. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) while facilitating to receipt inspections of components and final installations.
●Designed and Installed 23 points of live on-line predictive monitoring points for the Circulating Water Pumps. This condition monitoring system read out locally on touch panels and into the control room. First ever in the power plant industry.
●Reviewed the top stations critical pumps and motors for the site that induced transients, down powers, and scrams. The review resulted in component upgrades and designs that were implemented through vendors during refurbishment and factory acceptance testing.
