Design and Simulation of DC-DC Boost Converter with PID Controller (Mini Project) Description: The main objective of a DC-DC converter is to maintain a constant output voltage despite variations in input source voltage, components of load current. A simple PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) controller has been applied in to a conventional boost converter and tested in MATLAB-Simulink environment for achieving improved voltage regulation. The proposed closed loop implementation of a converter maintains constant output voltage despite of changes in input voltage and it reduces overshoot thereby improving the efficiency converter. Vehicle Accident Prevention by Eye Blinking Sensor and Alcohol Sensor (Main Project) Description: The system provides a unique method to curb drunken and drowsy people. The drowsiness is identified by the eye blink and blinking frequency through infra-red sensor worn by driver by means of spectacles frame then worn the driver. If the driver is drowsy, then the system will give buzzer signal and the speed of vehicle is reduced. If the driver is drunken then the buzzer indicates and the vehicle doesn’t allow the driver to start the vehicle.
