Capstone Project: I conducted a literature review and written a research paper on “The Effects of Lifestyle Modification on Remission of Pre-Diabetes.” The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of proper lifestyle modification including low-carbohydrate diet along with the adequate amount of exercise of thirty minutes per day on the progression of pre-diabetes to type 2 diabetes. Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) are measured to check the impact of lifestyle changes and the progression of diabetes in all individuals.

§ Worked with the private ambulance company as EMT-B and transferred patients with emergent or urgent medical conditions including doctor’s appointments, transfers to different facilities, dialysis appointments, etc.
§ As a part of job, I and another EMT partner checked the ambulance for proper equipment, fuel and sanitized before and after shifts.
