PROJECTS

Digit-Recognition Neural Network, May 2019 (C++ 11 STL)

Created a neural network in C++ to recognize handwritten numbers using only the standard C++ library and no external APIs.

Implemented Stochastic Gradient Descent, with multiple hidden layers to achieve an accuracy of around 93 percent on the MNIST testing data.

Chess AI Web Application, June 2020 (ReactJS, NodeJS, CSS, ajax, bootstrap 4, HTML 5)

Created a full-stack project in which the users play chess against a strong AI.

Utilized the alpha-beta search algorithm to find quasi-optimal gamestates. The search algorithm utilizes piece-value-tables for the static evaluation .

Implemented the killer move heuristic and the MVVLVA heuristic to improve search efficiency. Chess Move Neural Network, January 2020 (Python3, TensorFlow Keras, Multi-processing, Google Cloud)

Made a neural network to select among the 4032 possible actions in chess.

Trained the neural network using millions of grandmaster games position.

Designed the network architecture using CNNs and Residual Neural Networks. Uses the adam optimizer. Epuck-Robot Autonomous Navigation, March 2021 (C++ 20, WeBots, Python3, Eigen3, tkinter)

Created a controller for the epuck robot in Webots that utilizes light sensors.

Implemented the RRT algorithm and utilized an occupancy map to facilitate autonomous navigations.

Made the agents capable of navigating unknown maps and clearing obstacles.

Facilitated the occupancy map visualization through Python’s tkinter library. TECH WORK EXPERIENCE
